Artist Statement: Proportional systems derived from the square have been used by architects and designers to create structures that are permeated with a harmony that links every aspect of the building from the floor plan to the smallest ornamental details. This pattern, from mausoleum of Oljaytu in Soltaniyeh, Zanjan, Iran, is an exploration of those proportions.
