Artist Statement: This image was created as a way of looking back and thinking about how the story of Good Friday has been told. This image was created using traditional materials that Iconographers use which include natural pigments, like lapis in the case of Mary, egg tempera and gold leaf. The panel is also a traditional iconographic panel.
